When you install Outlook on a new computer and configure an Exchange account, all your items on the server will be available to you again. If you use a Microsoft Exchange account, typically your e-mail messages, calendar, contacts, and other items are delivered to and stored in your mailbox on the server. pst data file does not support read-only media such as CDs and DVDs. A data file can be accessed by only one user or program at a time. One possible reason for this is that there is a serious issue with your account. No matter what you do, Outlook simply won’t open. When Outlook starts, it is possible that it hangs on “Loading Profiles”. But it’s mostly a tutorial to help you solve a problem you might run into.
But this is not a post to complain about Outlook. Outlook is a tool I use because it’s the best tool for the job while I still think it’s pretty bad. I’ve always had a hate-love-hate relationship with Outlook.
